Director to provide leadership for Children's Ministries by delivering the ministry philosophy of Springs Community Church; to inspire and equip parents to become the primary spiritual leaders of their family; to recruit, train and encourage volunteers in children's ministries; to foster environments of community, worship, and discipleship where children can experience the Father, love Jesus and be transformed by the Holy Spirit.
Responsibilities and Duties
Applicant will provide leadership for ministry to all children, newborn through 5th grade.
Applicant will recruit, screen, train, supervise & encourage Children's Ministry volunteers.
With a passion for children, applicant will establish annual goals, develop action plans to meet these goals and foster growth in a healthy, fruitful manner.
As a team player, applicant will place a high priority on vision and leadership goals, regularly attend worship and staff meetings/functions, and prepare and manage the Children's Ministry budget.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants must have an active faith in Christ and a life pattern of involvement in church and ministry. College graduate or 1 year experience in leading Children's Ministry and/or leadership in a related field (child development). Must have Microsoft Office and internet/email skills. This is a part time position with approximately 20 hours per week.
Paid holidays and 1-2 weeks vacation time.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18,000.00 - $22,000.00 per year
